Renowned stage and screen actors ISLA BLAIR and DAVID CARDY will complete the cast of MADE IN DAGENHAM, the heartwarming new musical that will open at the Adelphi Theatre on Wednesday 5 November, with previews from Thursday 9 October. Isla andDavid will play Connie and Monty respectively, in the musical stage adaptation of the hit British film, which has a book by RICHARD BEAN, music by DAVID ARNOLD and lyrics by RICHARD THOMAS.

A performance of Verdi's Requiem that is a tripartite collaboration highlights the 2014-15 season of Kent Tritle, called 'New York's reigning choral conductor' by The New York Times. The Pan American Musical Art Research, Inc. (PAMAR) announces the Shall We Tango NYC international tango festival in celebration of its 30th anniversary. The biggest challenge in personalizing a tribute show is when the set list is structured to tell a story about the performer's life. Those songs better be good, that life better be interesting, and that storytelling patter better be clever, humorous, and self-deprecating or an audience (let alone a reviewer) will tune you out quicker than a liberal accidentally hitting FOX News on the remote. I recently saw two different shows at The Duplex from enchanting young women performers—Carly Ozard and Nikki MacCallum--who deftly managed to weave their love of a singer (Bette Midler for Ozard) or a songbook (Kander & Ebb for MacCallum) into a tale of life journey and personal growth to produce charming and entertaining shows.

Maureen Lipman and Harry Shearer join Oliver Cotton in the West End transfer of his play,Daytona. Directed by David Grindley, Daytona will begin performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 28 June and will complete its strictly limited 8 week run on 23 August 2014. Press night is on 7 July 2014. Daytona received its world premiere at London's Park Theatre in 2013 and this production marks the Theatre Royal Haymarket's first collaboration with an off West End theatre venue.

In 2014 to mark the thirtieth anniversary of Morecambe's passing a brand new production of the Olivier award winning West End play that celebrates the life of the man who played all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order, embarks on a major national tour.

Sonic Boom 2014 showcases the new, compositional works of some of British Columbia`s most interesting composers, being performed by some of the best musicians of the Lower Mainland. This 5 day, musical event is comprised of four evening concerts supplemented by workshops, lectures/panel discussions, and a Student Composers' Master Class.
