Ocean State Theatre Company ushers in the holidays with a performance of Yes, Virginia The Musical, performed by their OSTeenCo., which was created to provide an opportunity for teen actors to benefit from a professional theatre experience. Yes, Virginia The Musical, which was created by Macy's as part of its annual holiday Believe campaign will be presented for one performance only on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am.

The New York Philharmonic will present Rachmaninoff: A Philharmonic Festival, tonight, November 10-28, 2015, featuring 24-year-old Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov performing three of the composer's piano concertos and the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini over the course of three consecutive all-Rachmaninoff programs, each led by a different conductor: Cristian Macelaru (in his Philharmonic debut), Neeme Jarvi, and Ludovic Morlot.

Butoh Medea opens United Solo Theatre Festival at Theatre Row this year. United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival in its 6th season, presents over 130 productions from 6 different continents. Butoh Medea received four awards at United Solo 2014: Best One-Woman Show, Best Lighting Design, Best Costume Design and Best Choreography. Moreover, the show was selected to United Solo Europe to present the work in Warsaw, Poland this June. It played sold out show and received much acclaim. In August it will appear at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for twenty-one shows. It will return to NYC to open United Solo 2015. The Studio Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, New York City. From Dood Paard ('Dead Horse') Theatre in Amsterdam comes 'Botox Angels,' a play about militant female sexuality which is abundant in sultry dialogue, jealousy and emotional violence. Three clownish lesbian characters, named Swift, Cocky and Deedee, negotiate shifting power relationships, juggle dildos and fake breasts, play dress-up games and cross swords about men, breast reductions, philosphy versus banality and emotion versus rationality. Written by Rob de Graaf, translated into English by Paul Evans, it is performed by Ellen Goemans, Janneke Remmers and Manja Topper, all from Holland. La MaMa presents the work's American premiere June 25 to 28, coinciding with Gay Pride Weekend.

Italian pianist Carlo Grante will present the last of three concerts in his series 'Masters of High Romanticism' tonight, February 10, 2015, at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City. He will devote this concert to variations by Johannes Brahms, including two monumental works in this genre: those on themes by Handel and Paganini.
