Charles Dickens' beloved orphan makes his Goodspeed debut in the hope-filled musical set in the dark shadows of Victorian London. Bounced from workhouse to forced labor, Oliver Twist escapes to the streets where he meets Fagin, the Artful Dodger and a band of child pickpockets. Will he find love, home and happiness before it's too late?

This autumn, Motown the Musical will embark on its first ever UK and Ireland Tour whilst the show continues to play at Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End.

FROZEN, the Tony-nominated Best Musical, will launch a North American tour in the Fall of 2019 and will officially open at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles during the 2019-20 season.

To celebrate the debut of the Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording, the show has just released a brand new, behind-the-scenes music video of its best known song and Act I closer, "Let It Go." This is the first time that the Broadway version of the song, and Caissie Levy's (Elsa) thrilling vocal performance, have been heard outside of the St. James Theatre. The video takes the viewer into the recording studio with Levy and into the backstage and onstage worlds of the cast of the Broadway production of Frozen. "Let It Go" won the Academy Award® in 2014 for Best Original Song.

The National Theatre's 2018-2019 Broadway at the National season continues its long history as the home for world premieres of landmark American musicals and pre-Broadway attractions with the world premiere of the new Broadway-bound musical comedy BEETLEJUICE (October 14-November 18, 2018), based on Tim Burton's iconic film.

After playing over 120 cities across the nation in four years, the record breaking smash hit production, MOTOWN THE MUSICAL, will conclude its national tour in the nation's Capital, playing the Filene Center at Wolf Trap at the end of June 2018. Over five million people will have experienced this critical and audience favorite between the first performance on Broadway until the final tour performance this June.

The Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording will be on sale digitally by Walt Disney Records on Friday, May 11, 2018 at digital music services. The physical album will be available on Friday, June 8, 2018 wherever music is sold. The album is produced by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Stephen Oremus, Dave Metzger and Chris Montan.

Pioneer Theatre Company presents the musical hit Mamma Mia! to close its 2017-2018 season, running Friday, May 11 through Saturday, May 26, 2018.  The New York Times said Mamma Mia! 'creates the beguiling illusion that you could jump onstage and start singing and fit right in.'

Chicago Children's Theatre's much anticipated 2017-18 season finale has arrived, and it's the hip-hop, heart-thumpin', toe-tappin' joy ride Last Stop on Market Street, a world premiere musical based on the 2016 Newbery-winning, Caldecott-honored children's book by Matt de la Peña.

The 2018-2019 season includes six Broadway shows, headlined by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Blockbuster Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Also coming as part of the Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico series are Finding Neverland, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots, and the newly-restaged Cats. Atlantic recording artist Josie Dunne has announced the release of her new single. “Good Boys” – which follows Dunne's breakthrough pop debut, “Old School” – is available today at all digital music retailers and streaming services.

The North American premiere of Timothy Sheader's explosive Olivier Award-winning production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar opens this month at Lyric and includes artists Heath Saunders as Jesus, Ryan Shaw as Judas, and Jo Lampert as Mary Magdalene. Lyric is the only place to experience the grand scale of this acclaimed production in its first staging outside London.

Back in 2014, reports began to circulate that the Weinstein Company would bring Pippin to the big screen, with the help of producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. Now according to Deadline, TWC has officially lost the rights to the film amidst the company's recent bankruptcy filings. 

ZACH Theatre, Central Texas' premier professional theatre, announces a 2018-19 season filled with rafter-raising musicals, riveting contemporary dramas, and inventively produced new work that will entertain, inspire, and spark dialogue. ZACH is expanding its' commitment to incubate and produce new musicals and plays this season and in the coming years, in addition to premiering award-winning contemporary plays and musicals straight from New York. ZACH's involvement in the development of major new works allows Central Texans to witness exciting projects before they hit Broadway stages and launch at theatres across the nation.

Las Vegas is known as a party town but the fun is not just on the Las Vegas Strip. 'T-Fox's House Party' starring T-Fox brings back good times in the Oasis Ballroom at Oasis Las Vegas Resort on March 30. The stage becomes a living room with tables, couches, chairs, a piano and fireplace while T-Fox invites the audience to his house party. With his flair, T-Fox performs R&B, jazz, neo-soul, funk, country, top 40 and blues. Along with some Broadway show tunes, he adds the great swing and standards of the '40s, '50s and '60s, hits from the Motown era, dance tunes and love songs from the 1970s to 1990s. Current hits are thrown in since it is a party for all ages.

The Muny announced today that Grammy Award-winner Nathan Lee Graham will play the title role in The Wiz. Starring alongside Graham will be Jared Grimes as Scarecrow, Mykal Kilgore as Lion and James T. Lane as Tinman. In its first Muny staging in 36 years, The Wiz is the second production of the historic outdoor theatre's centennial season. The Wiz is directed by Denis Jones and choreographed by Camille A. Brown with music direction by Darryl Archibald. The Wiz is proudly sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors.

Initial casting has been announced for The Muny's production of THE WIZ - part of their 100th season. Grammy Award winner Nathan Lee Graham will star as The Wizard, Jared Grimes will portray the scarecrow, Mykal Kilgore will ring to life the Lion, and James T. Shakespeare Theatre Company today announces the cast of Lerner and Loewe's multiple Tony Award-winning musical Camelot. Directed by STC Associate Artistic Director Alan Paul (Kiss Me, Kate; Man of La Mancha), the classic musical will play at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F St NW) from May 22 through July 1, concluding STC's 2017-2018 mainstage season.
