Masterworks Broadway releases A Chorus Line - 40th Anniversary Celebration, a definitive, newly remastered edition of the best-selling 1975 Original Broadway Cast Recording. The reissue features eight bonus tracks that - for the first time - allow the listener to eavesdrop on the creative process of composer Marvin Hamlisch and lyricist Edward Kleban, including songs that did not make it into the final version of their acclaimed score. A Chorus Line - 40th Anniversary Celebration will be available October 23, 2015 on CD,downloads in enhanced audio formats and via streaming audio providers.

The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). International City Theatre winds up its 30th anniversary season with an intimate portrait of musical icon Stephen Sondheim in his own words and music. DJ Gray directs and stages the Los Angeles premiere of James Lapine's award-winning Broadway hit, Sondheim on Sondheim. Previews are set for October 14 and 15, and opening night is October 16 at ICT's newly renovated home in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway and Australian stage vet Anthony Warlow, who is currently starring  as 'Charles Frohman' and 'Captain Hook' in FINDING NEVERLAND, will remain in the show longer than expected. Warlow, who was previously sceduled to end his run on September 13, will continue through September 27.

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces the full cast and creative team for its production of August Wilson's Seven Guitars, directed by Brandon J. Dirden, an award-winning actor who is making his directorial debut with this production. Seven Guitars is the third play in Wilson's American Century Cycle produced by Two River, following the theater's acclaimed mountings of Jitney and Two Trains Running. Chicago born singer, cabaret performer, writer, lyricist and actress, Charlene Brooks, returns to the Skokie Theatre in Putting It Together, directed by Dale Calandra, tonight, June 27 at 8 p.m. at the Skokie Theatre, 7924 N. Lincoln Ave. Brooks will be performing with her six piece band including Kevin Disch, piano; Jim Cox, bass; Eric Monzka, drums and Doug Schuler on trumpet leading the horn section.
