The Warner Theatre has just announced three new shows:

Cabaret is set in 1930s Berlin, just around the time the Nazi Party began rising to power in Germany. The Emcee, Sally Bowles and a raucous ensemble take the stage at the Kit Kat Klub nightly to tantalize the crowd, and to leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, the club, a metaphor for the threatening state of the late Weimar Germany begins to fall apart.

You can't fault a performer for loving Seattle, and you certainly can't fault Seattle for falling for this performer! Groucho is back for a third consecutive summer engagement in ACT Theatre's Bullitt Cabaret. Award-winning actor Frank Ferrante returns to one of his favorite cities worldwide to perform his hilarious one-man tribute to the comedic legend of Groucho Marx. Directed by Dreya Weber Groucho Returns runs for three weeks in a show that is never the same twice. Master of improvisation Frank Ferrante riffs off a different audience each night in classic Groucho Marx style.

On Thursday, July 17th jazz musicians and aficionados will gather to honor local jazz legend Keith Mohler, with a benefit concert. Keith Mohler, bass player, has organized the successful Jazz-in-the-Sky series for the Ware Center | Millersville University. Some of the musicians who have agreed to perform for this benefit include The Carmitchell Sisters, Rue de la Pompe, Chris Heslop & the Hessie's Hot Jazz, Steve Meashey, Steve Rudolph, Ronnie Waters and Robin Work. They will perform at the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA, Thursday, July 17 at 7:30 PM.

The New York Philharmonic will present its 11th season of Summertime Classics, July 2-6, 2014, featuring five themed concerts with Bramwell Tovey, who has been the host and conductor of the series since its founding in 2004. On the first program, July 2-3, 2014, titled 'Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, and Friends,' the New York Philharmonic will perform Shostakovich's Festive Overture; Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 1, with pianist Joyce Yang as soloist; Musorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain; Rachmaninoff's arrangement of his own Vocalise; and Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker, and Marche slave. The second program, July 4-6, 2014, titled 'Star-Spangled Celebration,' will feature the New York Philharmonic and United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps - 'The Commandant's Own,' which is celebrating its 80th-anniversary year - in a program that includes Copland's Clarinet Concerto, with Associate Principal Clarinet Mark Nuccio as soloist, and Fanfare for the Common Man; Gershwin's 'Strike Up the Band' from Strike Up the Band; Sousa marches; and more. In these performances Major Brian Dix, director and commanding officer of 'The Commandant's Own,' will share conducting duties with Bramwell Tovey.

Concert aficionados from around the country will want to mark their calendars for Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, when it kicks off its gala 85th Anniversary Season beginning Today, June 7th! To commemorate the milestone, Music Mountain will continue their season past Labor Day - making the 85th Anniversary Season the longest running season since the 1930s! The summer will include returning chamber ensembles, first time guests and the ever-popular Today Evening Twilight Series featuring Jazz, Country, and Folk Music. Concerts are scheduled through September 14.

To honor this incredible legacy of the feminine heroine Nancy Drew, Milwaukee's First Stage (FS), presents a world premiere in the Todd Wehr Theater on May 2: Nancy Drew and Her Biggest Case Ever. The new play co-written by FS Artistic Director Jeff Frank and FS Associate Artistic Director John Maclay becomes the 50th world premiere produced by First Stage in the last 26 years, and coalesces the men's combined notes from reading over 30 stories from the legendary mystery series. In the final script, the production will intermingle Nancy Drew's The Bungalow Mystery with The Quest of the Missing Map.

Hemisphere Two Entertainment, LLC, has acquired the rights to the stage production of Falling in Love Again: The Marlene Dietrich Musical Experience. This new Broadway-bound musical experience will immerse the audience in the captivating and alluring world of Marlene Dietrich. This production is an enthralling look into the life of the silver screen icon known for her vagaries of passion, love, gender bending and fame.

She became the youngest performer ever to grace the stage at the legendary Rainbow Room in the late 1990's. The old world of jazz and the next generation collide at Stamford's Palace Theatre on November 13th at 8 p.m. when Hilary Kole and Freddy Cole headline the third performance in the Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz Series: "Perfect Pairs at The Palace."
