New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is pleased to present Speed-the-Plow a drama by David Mamet. Speed-the-Plow opens for the press on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7:30pm and plays through Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

Producers David Richenthal and Jack Viertel have announced that the critically-acclaimed New York City Center Encores! production of Finian?s Rainbow, will transfer to Broadway's St. James Theatre, 246 West 44 Street, beginning Thursday, October 8 at 8pm, with an opening set for Thursday, October 29 at 6:45pm.

Tony® Award-winner Liev Schreiber and Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson, in her Broadway debut, will star in Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Gregory Mosher on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Performances begin Monday, December 28, 2009 and the official opening is Sunday, January 24, 2010. The limited engagement will run for 14 weeks only.

On October 12, 2009, La Jolla Playhouse will join with theatres across the country in presenting a reading of the Tectonic Theater Project's new work: The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later, by The Laramie Project creators Moisés Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris and Stephen Belber. Jack Manning, Broadway, film and television star died of natural causes at his home in Rancho Palos Verdes on August 31. He was 93 years old.

The Mousetrap will perform weekends June 26 to July 26 - note: no performances July 4th weekend.
