DAMES AT SEA, now in previews, announces 'Tap Happy Tuesdays,' a chance each Tuesday evening for tap dancers to demonstrate their own original 30-second a cappella tap combination for Assistant Director & Choreographer Emily Morgan and everyone in Times Square.

The first Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA, beginning previews tomorrow, Thursday, September 24, will offer a student rush at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. A limited number of $32 (inclusive of $2 facility fee) tickets will be available for each performance when the box office opens for that day's performance. A valid student ID must be presented at the time of purchase. Limit one ticket per transaction.

The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.

The Drama League, embarking on a landmark year of celebration commemorating its 100 years of service to the American theater, will honor Golden Globe and three-time Tony Award winner and musical theater icon Bernadette Peters as their Centennial Honoree.  The Drama League Centennial Gala is set for Monday evening, November 2, 2015 at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue) in New York City.

Sponsored by Children's Musical Theater San Jose and Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, this yearly regional awards competition recognizes outstanding achievement in high school musical theatre in the greater California region.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 7th at 8/9c hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long award season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. Previn, who has been called one of America's least easily categorized musicians, began his remarkable career as a Hollywood "wunderkind" and a best-selling jazz pianist. Now 86, Previn has received four Academy Awards for his work in film, 10 Grammy Awards for his recordings (plus one more for his Lifetime Achievement), and he is also an honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. He's held a series of major conducting posts, including the L.A. Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, but now exclusively composes. The concert is led by Music Director Carl St.Clair, whose great admiration for the legend shaped this year's ACF to reveal the scope of Previn's prowess as a composer.

Celebrate Mother's Day against the grain with a triple-feature of maternal-themed horror movies on the big screen at Museum of the Moving Image. On Sunday, May 10, as part of Horror Mother's Day, the Museum will show Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, starring Anthony Perkins as the ultimate momma's boy; Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby, with Mia Farrow as an Upper West Side mother-to-be caught up in a sinister cult; and David Cronenberg's The Brood (in a new 35mm print), a terrifying psychological thriller driven by a mother's rage.

Now, over 40 years later, Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960-1971 surveys the decisive decade that led up to that unauthorized exhibition at MoMA, bringing together approximately 125 of her early objects, works on paper, installations, performances, audio recordings, and films, alongside rarely seen archival materials. On view from May 17 to September 7, 2015, this is the first exhibition at MoMA dedicated exclusively to the artist's work.
