New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is proud to present for the first time Richard Nader's 27th Annual Summer Doo Wop Concert.

In conjunction with a production of playwright Lorraine Hansberry's final work, The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window, Goodman Theatre presents a Lorraine Hansberry Celebration (April 30 - June 5), curated by Goodman Resident Director Chuck Smith.

How can the creative community advance race equity in the theatre? How do artists and producers agree to work together to eradicate yellowface and brownface? What are lessons learned that can be shared? On Monday, May 2nd, 2016, at 7 pm, Beyond Orientalism: The Forum will be held at Fordham University's Pope Auditorium to explore these vital questions. This interactive public event, in which every attendee will play a role and have a voice, features panel conversations, a breakout session, and multimedia components, more than just a series of talking heads.

The recording, a hybrid SACD is out today, Friday, April 8, 2016, is the second in an ongoing series by Music Director Thierry Fischer and the Utah Symphony for Reference Recordings. It follows the release of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 1 'Titan,' recorded live by the Utah Symphony and Mr. Fischer, issued in September 2015. DAWN TO DUST will be available from iTunes, Amazon.com, and other music retailers.

As part of its 75th-anniversary celebrations, the Utah Symphony releases Dawn to Dust, a new recording featuring live performances of orchestral works commissioned from three leading American composers: Augusta Read Thomas, Nico Muhly, and Andrew Norman.

Boston Ballet's 52nd season continues with John Cranko's emotionally evocative love story Onegin. Returning to Boston Ballet after fourteen years, this passionate tale of unrequited love is based on Russian poet Alexander Pushkin's popular 19th century verse-novel. With all the heated romance and suspense of a classic melodrama, Onegin is set to the incomparable music of Tchaikovsky and has been hailed 'an undeniable masterpiece, both technically and artistically' (Theodore Bale, The Boston Herald). Onegin will run tonight, February 25-March 6, 2016, at the Boston Opera House.

DENVER – Colorado Ballet Artistic Director Gil Boggs announced the 2016-2017 season, which will feature technically-challenging classical ballets, innovative contemporary works and the 56th annual production of The Nutcracker.

?Due to popular demand, A Red Orchid Theatre has extended its critically-acclaimed production of Tennessee Williams' The Mutilated, directed by Ensemble Member Dado. The Mutilated will now run through March 13, 2016. The Mutilated features Ensemble Members Lance Baker, Jennifer Engstrom, Mierka Girten, Steve Haggard, Shade Murray, Doug Vickers and Natalie West with Ciera Dawn, Jennifer Glasse, Roy Gonzalez, Mario Hernandez, Morgan Maher, Lauren Vogel and Dominque Worsley. A Red Orchid Theatre is located at 1531 N Wells.

Washington State native Trisha Brown is considered the most widely acclaimed choreographer of the postmodern era. For over 50 years, she pushed the limits of choreographic movement, changing modern dance forever. At 79, Trisha Brown has choreographed her last dances. In celebration of her life's work, Trisha Brown Dance Company returns to the choreographer's home state to perform the final performances of her works for the proscenium stage as part of a retrospective presented by University of Washington's World Series at Meany Hall.

Theatreworks USA (Barbara Pasternack, Artistic Director; Ken Arthur, Producing Director) will continue its 2016 weekend family performance series this Sunday, January 31st, with The Lightning Thief, a musical adapted from the book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The Lightning Thief features a book by Joe Tracz with music, lyrics, & orchestrations by Rob Rokicki. The Off-Broadway premiere of The Lightning Thief was nominated for Outstanding Musical by the Lortel Awards in 2015. This 60-minute musical is recommended for audiences age 8 and up.

This spring, Asia Society presents Season of Japan, a celebration of Japanese culture held in conjunction with the exhibition Kamakura: Realism and Spirituality in the Sculpture of Japan, on view at Asia Society Museum in New York from February 9 to May 8, 2016.

The tradition continues in a collaboration with Trick Saddle and the 45-year old company. The two companies combine forces in the world premiere of 'Imagining the Imaginary Invalid,' inspired by 'The Imaginary Invalid,' Moliere's piercing satiric take on the pretension, gullibility and vulnerability of we poor mortals. Presented by La MaMa, a production of Mabou Mines and Trick Saddle, the play runs January 21-February 7 at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre.

DENVER – More than 100 sites from 10 Colorado cities and 27 states streamed Colorado Ballet's free live student matinee performance of The Nutcracker on December 4.  In addition, students in England, Ireland, Ecuador, Greece, Italy and China also participated in the live stream event.

In celebration of Carnegie Hall's 125th anniversary, the Weill Music Institute (WMI) has launched The Somewhere Project, a citywide exploration of West Side Story. This extensive creative learning project is engaging people through events in all five boroughs of New York City, plus those outside the city through online content, all anchored by a large-scale production of West Side Story, the classic American musical based on a conception by Jerome Robbins, with music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents.

La MaMa presents PYLADE -- a play by the late, celebrated Italian film director Pier Paolo Pasolini -- in its U.S. premiere 40 years after the author's murder. The production directed by Ivica Buljan, director of the Croatian National Theatre, begins performances beginning tonight, December 3 at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) with the press opening set for December 6, it has been announced by Mia Yoo, La MaMa's Artistic Director.
