Notoriously press and camera-shy, Geffen reveals himself for the first time in the new two-hour documentary American Masters Inventing David Geffen, premiering nationally Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 8 p.m. (ET) on PBS (check local listings). Two-time Emmy®-winning filmmaker, American Masters creator and executive producer Susan Lacy paints an unflinching portrait of Geffen, who narrates his unorthodox rise from working class Brooklyn boy to billionaire entertainment power broker in extensive interviews.

According to Wlf Trap's official website, Jennifer Holliday, the Queen of Broadway Gospel returns to Dreamgirls, the six-time Tony-winning musical that recounts an all-girl group's rise to stardom, featuring R&B hits like "And I am Telling You I'm Not Going." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sheryl Lee Ralph will guest star on NBC's Smash season two as Cynthia, mother of Jennifer Hudson's character Veronica Moore. Ralph starred as Deena Jones in Broadway's Dreamgirls in 1981.

Two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz will join Katie Holmes on Broadway this fall in DEAD ACCOUNTS, the new comedy by Theresa Rebeck, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien. This limited engagement of DEAD ACCOUNTS, produced by Jeffrey Finn, John N. Hart Jr., David Mirvish, and The Shubert Organization, will begin previews on Saturday, November 3 and open Wednesday, November 28 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).
