With its eighth innovative season in 2020, PROTOTYPE: Opera | Theatre | Now continues its rigorous exploration of the work, producing and presenting an abundance of provocative shows in the interstitial realms between music, operatic tradition, and theatre. This season, Beth Morrison Projects and HERE's meteoric annual festival lands on stages across New York from January 9-18, presenting 6 works by 23 composers and librettists along with hundreds of collaborators - productions ranging from black-box chamber opera to multi-media rock concerts. 

The Royal Exchange Theatre is delighted to announce the appointment of Roy Alexander Weise and Bryony Shanahan as their new joint Artistic Directors. Bryony and Roy will join Executive Director Stephen Freeman to complete the leadership team for this award-winning theatre. Together they will assume the role of Chief Executive.

Houston Chamber Choir announces its 24th season, Illuminations, with a diverse and enthralling repertoire featuring world renowned special guests and guest artists, new partnerships and a world premiere. Some of the works explore deeper, existential matters, while other performances will lean toward lighter fare and tradition.

Public Theater announced the line-up today for The Public's 2019-20 Season

Harold Thau will present the New York premiere of ALMOST HEAVEN: THE SONGS OF JOHN DENVER, a new musical opening Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Off-Broadway's Promenade Theatre (2162 Broadway at 76th Street). Directed by Tony Award nominee Randal Myler (It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), ALMOST HEAVEN begins preview performances on Friday, October 28.
