In 1992, Crazy for You opened on Broadway and won the 1992 Tony Award for Best New Musical and ran for over 1600 performances before closing in 1996. Originally billed as 'a new Musical Comedy' by George and Ira Gershwin, the production is heavily based on Girl Crazy, a show written by the songwriting team back in 1930. Crazy for You will open at the new Alhambra Theatre & Dining tonight, March 20.

American actor, singer and improvisational comedian, Mike McShane will be joining the cast of the new musical, The Tailor-Made Man, when it opens at the Arts Theatre in London tonight, 21 February, previewing from 14 February. He will be playing the role of Louis B Mayer. Also in the cast will be Faye Tozer as Marion Davies and Dylan Turner as William Haines, along with Bradley Clarkson as Jimmy Shields, Michael Cotton, Kay Murphy, Matt Wilman, Lauren Grant, Vivien Carter, Holly Easterbrook and Edward French.

The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center will present the 22nd annual New York Jewish Film Festival at the Film Society's Walter Reade Theater, Jan. 9-24, 2013. The Endangered Species Project's May reading will be Juno and the Paycock by Sean O'Casey. The play was last performed professionally in Seattle at the Bathhouse Theatre in 1985, and through the kind auspices of the Seattle Public Theatre, Juno returns to the Bathhouse there via ESP's May 21 reading, tonight.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues its eighteenth season with John Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath" in an adaptation by Frank Galati. This production features CSC Ensemble Members Justin McCombs, Sherman Fracher and Drew Fracher and is directed by Brian Isaac Phillips. "The Grapes of Wrath" opens on March 30th and runs through April 29, 2012. The production design is generously sponsored by AAA.
