Kenny Rogers to Release New Album Through Cracker Barrel, 3/7

Music legend Kenny Rogers will become the first artist to release a second album through the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store exclusive music program when 'The Love of God' becomes available onMarch 7, 2011. The CD is an inspirational collection of classic songs that Rogers remembers from his childhood along with new recordings of contemporary songs. Two of the classics feature other artists: The Whites and Winfield's Locket. Point of Grace is featured on one of the album's contemporary recordings. This touching CD, certain to spark old memories and create new ones, will be available exclusively at all Cracker Barrel locations.

The National Tour of HAIR Will Perform at the Marcus Center in Milwaukee 2/27

Antaeus closes its inaugural season with THE AUTUMN GARDEN 10/22-12/19

In a guest house on the Gulf, a hundred miles from New Orleans, old friends gather in a summer home to rediscover connections, rekindle lost relationships, and find peace - only to find that they can't rewrite the stories of their past. The Antaeus Company, L.A.'s classical theater ensemble, presents The Autumn Garden by Lillian Hellman, directed by Larry Biederman. Four gala openings of the fully double-cast production, two with each cast, take place October 28-31, with performances continuing through December 19 at Antaeus' interim home, Deaf West Theatre in the NoHo Arts District. Low-priced previews begin October 22.

The Paley Center for Media will celebrate the life and work of John Lennon starting this October, with panel discussions, screenings, a musical tribute performance, and a photo exhibit that will give Lennon fans never-before-seen insight into his life both before and after the Beatles. To coincide with the week of Lennon's birthday on October 9, our Lennon salute will include major previews of Nowhere Boy and LENNONYC, a performance by the Quarreymen, and special screenings of Imagine and The U.S. vs. John Lennon for John Lennon's actual birthday on Saturday, October 9.

There was certainly no shortage of people at the Woodstock music festival in 1969. In fact 300,000 people were crammed onto Max Yasgur¹s farmland for three days of peace, love, and music. When Shadowbox recreated the Woodstock festival for the original musical documentary, Back to the Garden, they did it with only 40 cast members.
