"John Rando (Urinetown, A Christmas Story, Lincoln Centers's Carousel, All in the Timing) will direct Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead for The Acting Company," announced its producer, Margot Harley. Tom Stoppard's TONY-winning play will run off-Broadway in rotating repertory with Hamlet, directed by Ian Belknap,beginning in January 2014. Prior to New York, Hamlet will play a fall tour of western states beginning at Cal State-Northridge. A national tour of both plays, including an extended stay at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, begins in February. This is the 41st season and tour for The Acting Company, the sixth tour in association with the Guthrie.

Eva Laporte directs the regional premiere of Rebecca Gilman's Dollhouse, a 2004 Goodman-commission adapted from Ibsen's A Doll's House. Set at the cusp of the economic downturn of the past decade, Gilman's Dollhouse explores the economy of a relationship in America. The play is particularly poignant in the after-math of the mortgage crisis and the continuing economic struggles in America.

Puppets and live performers enact an enigmatic tale of early World War II in 'King Executioner,' the newest creation of Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre written and directed by Vit Horejš. The play is loosely based on 'When you are a King, You will be an Executioner' ('A Jak Krolem a Jak Katem Bedzies,' 1968) by the Polish magical realist novelist Tadeusz Nowak (1930-1991). Pittsburgh CLO has announced the creative team for the 2013 Summer Season at the Benedum Center. This group of Pittsburgh CLO veterans will bring the Benedum Center alive with Broadway's very best for the organization's 67th year. The season includes 42nd Street (May 31-June 9), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (June 11-16), Kopit & Yeston's Phantom (June 21-30), Disney's The Little Mermaid (July 9-21) and the tour of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story (July 24-August 4). This year, through special arrangement with The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh CLO Season Ticket Buyers will enjoy priority seating to Disney's The Lion King (September 3-8).

Today, we're featuring Patrick Wilson circa 2001. On stage, Wilson has appeared in Broadway's All My Sons, Barefoot in the Park, Something Good, Oklahoma!, Dreamgirls, The Full Monty and The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm. Off-Broadway he has taken the stage in Tenderloin, Bright Lights, Big City, and toured with the national cast of Carousel. Wilson has also appeared in a Minnesota production of Romeo and Juliet, as well as a New York production of Finian's Rinbow, a regional show Lucky in the Rain, and many more.

Price, is delighted to announce its Golden Anniversary season at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. The 50th season includes three very special musicals that are sure to please theatregoers: the charming collegiate comedy Good News will run from April 12 - June 22; Jerry Herman's beloved Hello, Dolly! will run from June 28 - September 8; and Frank Loesser's enchanting Broadway hit The Most Happy Fella will run from September 20 - December 1, 2013.
