Santa Monica Playhouse is pleased to announce the return to Santa Monica of sister theatre company Blue in the Face of Italy on the first leg of a three-city tour of the U.S.A. Blue in the Face will perform Enrico Maria Falconi's new play TI RICORDI, AMORE MIO? (Do you remember, my love?) in the original Italian, with a pre-show synopsis provided in English, for three shows only, Saturday, June 12 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, June 13 at 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm.

NINE Blue-ray/DVD Release Set for May 4

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Rob Marshall's film musical NINE on Blue-ray and DVD on May 4, according to Blue-ray.com. It is reported that bonus features will accompany the discs, including an exclusive interview with Sophia Loren, commentary by Rob Marshall and producer John DeLuca as well as three music vidoes.

Bernadette Peters Preps for 'Stella Is A Star' Release Next Month

As previously reported, Broadway star, Tony, Grammy and Golden Globe Award winner, Bernadette Peters will pen a second children's book, Stella is a Star, set for publishing and release this spring by Blue Apple Books. The book, inspired by Peters' dog Stella, will feature illustrations by Liz Murphy. Proceeds will go to Broadway Barks, the charitable organization co-founded by Peters and Mary Tyler Moore over over 10 year ago in support of animal shelters.
