Houston Grand Opera (HGO) announced today the winners of the 299h annual Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers that took place on the evening of January 27 at the Wortham Theater Center's Cullen Theater. Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the 1st Place Winner of the BSO's 2017 Young Artist Concerto Competition - Charlotte Marckx, a 14-year-old violinist from Bellevue, who performed Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, first movement.
