Olivier Award-winning director, Robert Icke's (Mary Stuart, The Red Barn, Uncle Vanya, Oresteia, Mr Burns and 1984), ground-breaking and electrifying production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, starring BAFTA award-winner Andrew Scott (Moriarty in BBC's Sherlock, Denial, Spectre, Design For Living and Cock) in the title role, will transfer to the Harold Pinter Theatre, following a critically acclaimed and sell out run at the Almeida Theatre.

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati (ETC) closes its 31st season with a trip to Ireland in the regional premiere of Bloomsday by award-winning playwright Steven Dietz. Set against the backdrop of James Joyce's groundbreaking modernist novel Ulysses, an American man searches for the Irish woman who first captured his heart 35 years earlier during a Bloomsday walking tour in Dublin. Maureen Beattie, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Gerrome Miller, Beatrice Scirocchi and Andrew Sheridan have been cast in Simon Stephens' Nuclear War directed by Imogen Knight. It runs in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Upstairs 19 April 2017 - 6 May 2017 with Press Night on Friday 21 April.

Pioneer Theatre Company presents King Charles III by Mike Bartlett, a 2015 Tony Award Nominee for Best Play. This future history play runs March 24 - April 8, 2017.

Baltimore Shakespeare Factory (BSF), working closely with world-renowned dialect and original pronunciation (OP) expert Paul Meier, will open its 2017 season with an historic production of Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra, March 31 through April 23 at The Great Hall at St. Mary's Community Center.

Second Thought Theatre continues its 2017 season of change with the area premiere of Straight White Men by Young Jean Lee. Local director/actor Christie Vela returns to direct for the company after making her acting debut for Second Thought last summer in A Kid Like Jake. Straight White Men begins with previews on Wednesday, April 12 and runs through Saturday, May 6.
