Repertory Theatre is hosting Literature to Life/Young Audiences of New York to present a stage adaptation of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. This Pulitzer Prize-winning 2008 novel written by Junot D az was adapted and directed for the stage by Elise Thoron and will be performed by Elvis Nolasco from the Emmy-winning ABC show American Crime. This collaboration across the coasts is the first time Book-It has hosted another company in its 28-year history.

According to Engadget, Netflix's first blockbuster film Bright has scored big with viewers. Nielsen figures found that 11 million viewers streamed the film in its first few days (compare to Stranger Things 2 number 15.8 million).
