Grammy-winning new-music choir The Crossing presents the world premiere of English composer Gavin Bryars'substantial new evening-length a cappella work, A Native Hill, on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 5pm at The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia.

On the heels of the success of National Geographic Documentary Films' JANE — the most celebrated film of 2017, which received a BAFTA nomination and was named best documentary of 2017 by 18 national critics groups, the Producers Guild of America, American Cinema Editors, the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the National Board of Review — the network announced today that it is taking a fresh, new look at Jane Goodall's incredible conservation work in the upcoming television special JANE GOODALL: THE HOPE.

The creators of the award-winning The Believers Are But Brothers return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August, with the world premiere of a show that confronts climate change anxiety, the collapse of political certainties and how privileged kids behave on Instagram.  

Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, is currently in its third record-smashing year at the Music Box Theatre. Following the success of the Broadway production, a national tour launched soon after, bringing the story across North America. A sit-down production made its way to Toronto earlier this year, and will be followed by a West End production set to debut in October 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre.

Judith Taranto presents Nancy F***ing Reagan, brand new dramedy by Daniel Hurewitz, directed by Larry Margo, making its world premiere this summer with a top-notch cast and creative team. The Lumineers will release their new album III on September 13th through Dualtone (an Entertainment One Company) in the U.S. and Canada and Decca Records for the rest of the world. The two-time GRAMMY nominated band has also released 'Gloria,' the first single from the album, which is out today. Lead vocalist Wesley Schultz says the song 'is about love between an addict and her family.'

The cast of the UK and Ireland tour of Jersey Boys arrived at the Edinburgh Playhouse in true Scottish style yesterday, ahead of their two week run. Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers based on the Royal Mile kindly donated kilts and accessories to the Four Seasons Michael Watson (Frankie Valli), Simon Bailey (Tommy DeVito), Lewis Griffiths (Nick Massi) and Declan Egan (Bob Gaudio) who will play to over 27,000 people across the run!

This Spring marks the start of the 36th season of the Verdi Chorus, who will present their Spring Concert, L'Amore e la Vita (Love and Life) for two performances only at the First United Methodist Church in Santa Monica on April 6 and 7. Led by Founding Artistic Director Anne Marie Ketchum, the Verdi Chorus is the only choral group in Southern California that focuses primarily on the dramatic and diverse music for opera chorus. This program, which Ketchum humorously calls the Rom-Com of opera, will feature selections from two Verdi operas I vespri siciliani and Ernani, three Donizetti operas - Don Pasquale, La fille du r giment and L'elisir d'amore, as well as operatic sequences from Bizet's Les p cheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers), Delibes' Lakm , and Puccini's La rondine.

TimeLine Theatre Company will present the Midwest premiere of J.T. Rogers' internationally acclaimed and Tony Award-winning playOSLO to open its upcoming 2019-2020 season.

The H Collective has partnered with prolific Japanese composer and musician Yoshiki on the next installment in the xXx franchise, xXx 4 starring Vin Diesel. The film will feature a theme song with music written by Yoshiki. xXx 4 is in pre-production with casting currently under way, and principal photography set to commence this year.

The Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Senior Center in Palm Desert is set to reopen under the artistic direction of CLago Productions. A season of five shows has been announced beginning September 20 and running through December 9 of this year.
