ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will soon hit the road for the first North American tour, opening at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI with performances beginning on October 1, 2013. Scott Saxon has a rather unique description for quirky musical 'Once.' He calls it 'the anti-blockbuster,' elaborating that the charming Tony-winner is the 'exact opposite' of shows like 'Wicked,' 'Jersey Boys,' 'Spamalot' or even rousing 'Rock of Ages.'

ONCE, the Tony and Grammy Award winning Best New Musical, in in the midst of 'ONCE WEEK', during which the show is having a lottery to distribute 20 free tickets per performance. Fans are invited to come to the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street) for free events, prizes and a chance to win FREE tickets to the show. The 88 Sing for Hope Pianos will come together for a finale concert event as the conclusion of a two-week public art installation on the streets of New York. The celebration will include free performances on the :08 of every hour kicking off at 12:08 p.m. with a very special performance by the cast of the Broadway musical 'Once.' Subsequent performances will include Sing for Hope's Youth Chorus and artists such as The Chevin, Christina Pegoraro, Tara Kamangar and more. At 7:08 p.m., the conclusion of the event, all 88 pianos will be played in unison for a memorable closing finale.

Katrina Lenk will join the cast of the 8-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical ONCE at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre beginning Tuesday, May 7. Ms. Lenk will take over the role of 'Reza' from Claire Wellen, who, as planned, was playing the role temporarily.
