As announced last week, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, the company of Broadway's first-ever revival of Stephen Schwartz's legendary rock musical GODSPELL welcomes a new leading man -- stage and screen star Corbin Bleu (Disney's 'High School Musical,' Broadway's In the Heights) -- to the starring role of Jesus. On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, the company of Broadway's first-ever revival of Stephen Schwartz's GODSPELL welcomes a new leading man -- stage and screen star Corbin Bleu (Disney's 'High School Musical,' Broadway's In the Heights) -- to the starring role of Jesus.

Before the 2:30 p.m. matinee performance on Sunday, April 8, all children ages 12 and under are invited to participate in GODSPELL's first-ever Easter Egg Hunt inside the Circle in the Square Theatre.

Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and George Salazar, Filipino actors and singers who are making their Broadway debuts in the current production of GODSPELL, and the rest of the show's cast were in full force to welcome the Filipino-American press, and Filipino-American TV and film actor Sam Milby, at a cocktail reception at Bambo 52 sushi bar and lounge in New York City, on Thursday, March 15, followed by an evening performance of GODSPELL at Circle in the Square Theatre, and a post-show talk back with KABABAYAN LA's Janelle So.

Last night, March 14, the casts of GODSPELL and WICKED gathered outside the Gershwin Theatre to wish Stephen Schwartz a happy birthday, which he celebrated last week. On hand for the festivities were Hunter Parrish (GODSPELL), Wallace Smith (GODSPELL), Lindsay Mendez (GODSPELL), Jackie Burns (WICKED), Richard H. Blake (WICKED) and more. Beginning Tuesday, March 6, for the first time in Broadway history, fans of the hit musical revival of GODSPELL can listen online for free to exclusive creative team audio commentary of the performance from the show's legendary composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and director Daniel Goldstein.

Earlier this week, Two Boots Pizza in Hell's Kitchen (9th Ave. and 44th St.) unveiled their new pizza inspired by GODSPELL. The GODSPELL pizza contains casear chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic and jalapeño pesto on a white pie. The cast was there for the big event, and you can check out photos form the festivities below!

Broadway's new revival of Stephen Schwartz's GODSPELL was featured on Lifetime Television's acclaimed reality competition 'Project Runway All Stars,' February 16. In the episode, the contestants competed for their 'Broadway debut' when Stephen Schwartz challenged the All Stars to put together an outfit for inclusion in the Broadway production of GODSPELL. The episode also featured ANYTHING GOES star and Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as a guest judge.
