STAGES ST. LOUIS continues its record-breaking 27th Season when it turns St. Louis pink, with the romantic comedy, Legally Blonde, The Musical July 19th through August 18th . The gender-bending music theatre blockbuster Twisted Broadway makes its debut at Arts Centre Melbourne's Playhouse Monday 22 July after sold-out seasons in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Twisted Broadway features Australia's premiere music theatre performers singing songs originally written for the opposite gender. With all proceeds going to Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Twisted Broadway re-imagines contemporary and classic musical numbers in a night of twisted, show-stopping entertainment.

Playful Theatre Productions presents the hit family comedy "Legally Blonde - the Musical" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Dates and times are Fridays, April 19 and 26 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, April 20 and 27 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, April 21 and 28 at 2 p.m. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on April 19. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
The Old Globe will open its 2013-14 Season with the world premiere of The Honeymooners, a new musical based on the legendary CBS television series. 2012 Tony Award winner Michael McGrath (Nice Work If You Can Get It) will star as Ralph Kramden, the small-time bus driver with big-time dreams. Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde) will direct and choreograph the musical comedy, with book by Dusty Kay and Bill Nuss, music by Stephen Weiner and lyrics by Peter Mills.

Audience members got an extra surprise at after a recent regional production of LEGALLY BLONDE. The Youtube description reads: 'My friends are both actors for the local theatre group, and the show was Legally Blonde. Chris plays the UPS guy, and his girlfriend plays Paulette. Chris plays his part while proposing to his girlfriend by 'delivering a package' after the show ends. They get married in the show, and then engaged in real life!'

This month the Drama Learning Center becomes the first resident theatre troupe in the Central Maryland area to produce the hit Broadway show Legally Blonde. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) steps in the role of Tommy DeVito; Dominic Nolfi departed on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp steps in the role of Bob Gaudio; Ryan Jesse departed October 9. Erik Bates played the role of Tommy DeVito for performances September 27 through October 9.
