Charles Busch launched his return to 54 Below last night, October 17. Among the fans at 54 Below cheering Busch on were Tony Award winner Jim Dale, and star of Busch's The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Michele Lee.

Yale Repertory Theatre has announced that Rene Augesen will play Blanche DuBois and Joe Manganiello will play Stanley Kowalski in its first-ever production of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, the Pulitzer Prize winning masterpiece by Tennessee Williams. Directed by Mark Rucker, the production, which will open Yale Rep's 2013-14 season, will play tonight, September 20-October 12, at the University Theatre (222 York Street).
Stark Sands, along with many well known names, including Carey Mulligan ('The Great Gatsby'), the Avett Brothers, Marcus Mumford (from Mumford and Sons), Jack White, as well as Oscar Isaac, will be performing a sold out concert to honor the movie INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, which comes out in December.
Due to a minor injury, Craig Bierko, who was to begin performances tonight in the role of Miss Trunchbull in MATILDA THE MUSICAL, will delay his first performance in the show.
On the heels of its successful first season in 2012/13, the Broadway @ NOCCA concert series has already updated the lineup for its second season. The Pulitzer Prize and OBIE Award-winning Theatre for the New City (TNC) held its 10th Annual LOVE 'N' COURAGE benefit gala last night, February 25, 2013 at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan), this year honoring award-winning actor and playwright Charles Busch. Hosts for LOVE 'N' COURAGE were composer and singer Phoebe Legere and playwright/filmmaker Matt Morillo ('Maid of Honor'). The performers at this year's show included Mr. Busch, The Love Show, dancer/choreographer Kitty Lunn and Infinity Dance, juggler supreme John Grimaldi, Carol Freeman, Luba Mason, KT Sullivan, Tammy Grimes, Drew Pulver, Mark Marcante and Crystal Field.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced that Charles Busch's Tony Nominated play The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, directed by four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines will be the final production of the 2013 Summer season. Performances run from Thursday, August 15th through Sunday, September 1st at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA). The cast will be announced shortly.

The Pulitzer Prize and OBIE Award-winning Theatre for the New City (TNC) will hold its 10th Annual LOVE ‘N' COURAGE benefit gala on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan), this year honoring award-winning actor and playwright Charles Busch, it has been announced by Crystal Field, co-founder and artistic director of Theater for the New City. The LOVE ‘N' COURAGE celebration will begin with cocktails at 6:30pm, with dinner following at 7:00pm, and performances at 8:00pm. Proceeds benefit the Emerging Playwrights' Program at Theater for the New City, located at 155 First Avenue in the East Village, where it remains one of the few remaining outposts for experimental and political theater in 21st century New York.
Award-nominated Vertigo Theatre Productions are bringing their original 2009 play 'M' back to the stage in a brand new production with all new twists and turns in Manchester at the Three Minute Theatre from January 22.
