The Old Globe today announced that due to popular demand, the exciting Globe-commissioned world premiere comedy Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood! has now extended again, through September 10! This is the second and final extension for the hit show, which previously announced a one-week addition through September 3. At the Mezzanine Theatre at the A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 W 53rd Street), Soho Rep. is pleased to present the world premiere of Richard Maxwell's Samara, commissioned by Artistic Director Sarah Benson. In a departure, Maxwell, who has directed nearly all 20 of his plays, is handing over the directorial duties to Benson. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and piece by piece productions have announced that Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait, written and directed by Daniel Talbott, will begin performances Thursday, May 21 at 7pm at The Gym at Judson, 243 Thompson Street. The opening night is set for Tuesday, June 9 at 7pm. The production is scheduled to run through Saturday, June 27.
