His category-defying new show, "You Want to Be a What?!?" premieres at Don't Tell Mama for a run of eight Tuesdays from September 9 to October 28. All shows at 9:15pm.

The highly entertaining "little orchestra" known as Pink Martini has been described as a rollicking around-the-world musical adventure featuring a dozen musicians and vocalists who perform a multilingual repertoire on concert stages and with symphony orchestras throughout the world. The band is fresh off their eighth studio album, Dream A Little Dream, featuring the powerful voices of co-lead singers China Forbes and Storm Large. They will bring their dynamic stage show to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, September 25, at 8 p.m. Special guests are The von Trapps, great-grandchildren of Captain and Maria, who will sing with China Forbes. The Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted Tuesday night (August 26) to present Honorary Awards to Jean-Claude Carrière, Hayao Miyazaki and Maureen O'Hara, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Harry Belafonte. All four awards will be presented at the Academy's 6th Annual Governors Awards on Saturday, November 8, at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center.
