Playwrights Horizons will present the World Premiere production of THE PATRON SAINT OF SEA MONSTERS, a new play by Blackburn Prize winner Marlane Meyer (The Chemistry of Change and Moe's Lucky Seven for PH; Etta Jenks). Directed by two-time Obie Award winner Lisa Peterson (The Chemistry of Change for PH; An Iliad, Slavs!), the production will begin previews Friday evening, October 18 at 7:30 PM with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, November 12 at 7PM. Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced O Guru Guru Guru, or why I don't want to go to yoga class with you by Mallery Avidon, directed by former Actors Theatre directing intern Lila Neugebauer. The play will run in the Victor Jory Theatre beginning on March 20, opening March 22 and running through April 7th. The production is part of the 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation.

This year the beloved tradition launches the Company's 2013-2014 Season by reviving Much Ado About Nothing, initially presented during the 2011-2012 Season with original direction by Ethan McSweeny. Primary Stages continues their 29th season with The Tribute Artist, a new world premiere comedy written by and starring Tony-nominee Charles Busch (The Divine Sister, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Olive and the Bitter Herbs). Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announces that Wyatt Fenner (The Whale, Misalliance, Next Fall) will take over the lead role of Eli in Slipping starting Sunday, April 21, 2013. Fenner will replace Seth Numrich (Broadway's War Horse, Golden Boy), who will travel to London to star with Kim Cattrall in the upcoming production of Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth at the Old Vic.
