DUA Now Available in Bronx, Kings, Queens and Richmond Counties

A historic awards presentation will take place in New York City at the Registry Room of the main Ellis Island building-the exact room where millions of immigrants were processed before entering the United States, with a grand reception to follow. The show will feature special appearances by Broadway's Olympia Dukakis (Rose, Social Security), Melina Kanakaredes (Cabaret), Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages), and George Psomas (South Pacific, Broadway Idol). Eugenia Gingold, Carole King's Mother, Dies at 94

According to the Miami Herald, Eugenia Gingold, the mother of famous singer-songwriter Carole King, died of congestive heart failure on Dec. 22 in the Hospice Care unit at Delray Medical Center, Delray Beach, her daughter said. Ten Chimneys Announces Lunt-Fontanne Fellows

On December 6, 2010 (on what would have been Lynn Fontanne's 123rd birthday), Ten Chimneys Foundation announced that ten of the top stage actors in America have been selected as the 2011 Lunt-Fontanne Fellows. These ten distinguished actors (see list below) were nominated by the nation's premier regional theatres to participate in the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program, a widely acclaimed national program to serve the future of American theatre. Next summer (July 24-31, 2011), the newly selected Lunt-Fontanne Fellows will join Academy Award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis for an intensive weeklong master class and immersion experience at Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin (just outside of Milwaukee). 'The Killing Of Sister George' Award Winning Play At Rising Action Theatre

'The Killing of Sister George' shocked and delighted audiences in London in 1964 and then again in 1966 on Broadway as one of the first plays about a lesbian couple. It was subsequently made into a film 'The Killing of Sister George' in 1968 and Beryl Reid was nominated for an Academy Award for her portayal of Sister George. Anderman, Jones et al. Join Spacey in Bridge Project's RICHARD III; Plays NY Jan. 2012

The full company is announced for the final season of The Bridge Project featuring Kevin Spacey, artistic director of The Old Vic, in the title role of Richard III. The Bridge Project will open at The Old Vic in London on June 29, 2011 and then embark on an international tour including the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, Spain's Centro Niemeyer, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Singapore Repertory Theatre, arriving at BAM's Harvey Theater in New York in January 2012.
