Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd Artistic Director and Producing Director Richard M. Parison, Jr., concludes the 2010 Mainstage season with Arthur Miller's American classic The Crucible, with performances beginning October 6 and running through October 24, with a Press Opening on Sunday, October 10 at 3pm. La Jolla Playhouse announces a new family-friendly Page To Stage Workshop Production: Cankerblossom, conceived and created by Pig Iron Theatre Company, directed by Dan Rothenberg, with cartoonist/puppeteer Beth Nixon, music by Rosie Langabeer, set and animation by Mimi Lien, lighting by James Clotfelter, video projection by Josh Higgason, and performed by Hinako Arao, Beth Nixon, David Sweeney and Alex Torra. Cankerblossom will run August 12 - 15, 2010 in the Mandell Weiss Forum, with performances Thursday, August 12 at 7:00 pm; Friday, August 13 at 7:00 pm; Saturday, August 14 at 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm and Sunday, August 15 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults; $20 for subscribers and $15 for children 12 and under.
