PBS will air 'Clay Aiken: Tried and True Live!' this summer. Please check local listings for dates and times. PBS describes the broadcast as 'a television special featuring Clay Aiken and guest stars Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder performing great romantic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s. Clay and his guests are accompanied by a full orchestra in the Big Band tradition.'

At a press conference held today at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 174 nominations for 225 eligible productions that opened between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010 for the 31st annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards which honour excellence in the performing arts in Toronto.

Gemma Arterton will join Stephen Dillane in the Almeida Theatre production of The Master Builder. Directed by Travis Preston and in Kenneth McLeish's translation of Henrik Ibsen's original, The Master Builder previews from 12 November and runs until 8 January 2011, with press night on 18 November. Designs are by Vicki Mortimer with lighting by Paul Pyant and sound by John Leonard. Further casting will be announced shortly.
A second season has been ordered of Disney XD's No. 1 series, 'Kick Buttowski - Suburban Daredevil,' about an extraordinary kid named Kick who is determined to become the world's greatest daredevil. Produced by Disney Television Animation, the network will begin rolling out new episodes of the hit animated comedy series in spring 2011. For the sophomore season, series creator Sandro Corsaro will serve as executive producer.
Following the re-opening of the Elgar Room at the end of 2009 and the continued success of the ignite series, the Royal Albert Hall have collaborated with their neighbours at the Royal College of Music to offer an exciting new series of concerts. Launching at the beginning of April, these Classical Coffee Mornings give audiences the chance to listen to outstanding talent from the College as their students give Sunday morning classical recitals in the Hall's very own Elgar Room. With an inclusive offer that includes a hot drink and a pastry, this is the perfect opportunity to relax on a Sunday morning whilst listening to some truly exceptional musicians. Commencing on Sunday 4 April with the vocal and piano duo Paula Sides & Kumi Matsuo, this new series continues on select Sundays until June.

Decca released Clay Aiken's fifth studio album, Tried and True, today. The bulk of the album is made up of songs from the 1950s and 1960s that Aiken listened to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Lindsay Posner will direct Richard Bean's new stage version of David Mamet's film, House of Games previewing from 9 September and running until 6 November, with press night on 16 September. Designs are by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Paul Pyant. Casting will be announced shortly.
