The gala will take place on Thursday, June 10th in the historic Stage 15 on the Sony Studios lot in Culver City, CA. Next Theatre Announces 2010/2011 Season

Next Theatre Company and Artistic Director Jason Southerland are thrilled to announce the 30th anniversary season, a year dedicated to plays that explore the myths that men and women create about their lives. The season opens in the fall with a world premiere presented at the National New Play Network's annual showcase. It continues with the regional premiere of a play Southerland first read when he met with Israeli playwright Motti Lerner (Pangs of the Messiah) in Tel Aviv earlier this year. The season comes to its climactic end with a pair of plays by Phyllis Nagy (pronounced 'Naij') who has captured wide acclaim in the United Kingdom but has been rarely produced in the U.S.

Since 1999, The Night of 1000 Voices has delighted capacity audiences at the Royal Albert Hall whilst raising money for charity. This year, The Night of 1000 Voices will be celebrating its 10th birthday, the 80th birthday of Stephen Sondheim and the 50th Anniversary of this year's charity, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Performers to be introduced by the much-loved, Aled Jones, include London and Broadway's Kerry Ellis (Oliver!, Wicked, Les Misérables) and Adam Pascal (Rent, Chess in Concert) and multi-Olivier Award-winning Philip Quast (Les Misérables, Evita, La Cage Aux Folles); also, the popular The Night of 1000 Voices regulars, Teri Bibb (Broadway's Christine in The Phantom of the Opera), Kenneth Nichols (Lyric Opera of Chicago) and David Michael Johnson (We Will Rock You in Stuttgart) who will return with his show-stopping Jesus Christ Superstar. Joining these performers on stage will be a VIP special musical guest with Robin Cousins and the original Calendar Girls. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, I Never Sang for My Father marks the second Anderson play presented by Keen, following the success of its 2007 critically acclaimed production of Tea & Sympathy.
