Today, The Cleveland Orchestra announced program details for the 30th annual free community concert in downtown Cleveland. The Star-Spangled Spectacular, brought to you by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and sponsored by KeyBank, will take place rain or shine on Wednesday, August 7 at 9:00 p.m. While this annual tradition typically takes place around Independence Day, this free family event will continue the community celebration in August due to the 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Game / Play Ball Park activities throughout Downtown Cleveland in early July. This year's concert will be held on Cleveland's spacious Mall B, located at 300 St. Clair Avenue between the Global Center for Health Innovation and Cleveland Public Auditorium. This annual concert celebrates our nation and our incredible Northeast Ohio community with music performed by The Cleveland Orchestra.

The Utah Symphony today announced the lineup for the 2019 summer community concert series in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, several of which feature outdoor venues and free performances. The schedule includes orchestra performances in Layton on June 17, Gallivan Center on Monday June 24, Thanksgiving Point on June 26, Taylorsville Dayzz on June 27, Utah Cultural Celebration Center on July 1, Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre on July 2, and Snowbasin on July 3. The final summer concert is in commemoration of Zion National Park's 100th anniversary, with a special performance of the orchestra with Sting on Aug. 31, 2019. No tickets are required for the Gallivan Center and Utah Cultural Celebration Center performances, which are free to the public. Tickets for the other performances are on sale now with ticketing information available at www.utahsymphony.org.

As part of its year-long 50th anniversary celebration, CAPA will offer a free open house walking tour of the Ohio, Southern, and Palace Theatres on Saturday, July 13, from 1-4 pm. The three historical, downtown theatres are owned and operated by CAPA, and will be open for self-guided tours that include access to their stages to take photos with the theatre as a backdrop. Local docents will be scattered throughout, offering historical information and interesting, and perhaps lesser known, facts about each venue.

Hear the music. Save the world. The non-profit humanitarian organization TEEEM.org presents Bergenfest, a benefit concert run by students that is full of music and fun for the family. TEEEM works with Bergen County high school students to provide medical care, economic empowerment, food and education to communities in in the developing world. Headlining the concert will be We McDonald of Paterson, NJ, who drew national attention on NBC's The Voice along with local bands playing throughout the day. Bergenfest will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School, 335 North Van Dien Avenue in Ridgewood NJ on Saturday June 29th, from 12-7pm. There will be food trucks, games, arts and crafts and face painting. It is a day of fun for the whole family. Tickets can be purchased online at http:teeem.org. Now celebrating its 41st year, the annual Museum Mile Festival takes place rain or shine on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Over 1.5 million people have taken part in this annual celebration since its inception. Festival attendees can walk the Mile on Fifth Avenue between 82nd Street and 105th Street while visiting seven of New York City's finest cultural institutions, which are open free to the public throughout the evening.
