"Lucky in Love" features timeless standards as well as four songs of their own: "You're Making Me Nervous," "Two Heads Are Better Than One," "Leap of Faith" and the title track, "Lucky in Love." In Orchestra of St. Luke's 2015/2016 Chamber Music Series, Continental Connections, each program will showcase a pair of countries, highlighting contrasts in musical style and often revealing influences among native composers. Carnegie Hall today announced that its Opening Night Gala concert on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m.- launching the Hall's historic 125th anniversary season-will be webcast free of charge to a worldwide audience, thanks to its continued partnership with medici.tv. The Opening Night program, featuring the New York Philharmonic conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert, will include the world premiere of Vivo by Magnus Lindberg, co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall; Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe Suite No. 2; and Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 with guest soloist Evgeny Kissin.
