Douglas Evans, producer of the invitation-only industry reading scheduled for November 18th and 19th of the new musical drama Walllenberg, announced today that Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) will perform the role of Raoul Wallenberg and lead a cast of Broadway performers including Sierra Boggess (Little Mermaid, Les Miserables tour and West End production of Love Never Dies) and Tony Award-winner Dick Latessa (Hairspray).
The cast will feature Karen Mason as Sue. Ms. Mason has appeared in Broadway'sWonderland, Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Play Me a Country Song as well as Goodspeed's Heartbeats at The Norma Terris Theatre. Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has today confirmed their complete 2013 season. Pride and Prejudice will follow the previously announced production of To Kill a Mockingbird, whilst The Winter's Tale re-imagined for everyone aged six and over will be staged prior to The Sound of Music to complete the Open Air Theatre's 2013 summer season.
