When you're catching the touring production of a show you saw with it's original cast on Broadway, you hope that the folks on tour will be up to par at least somewhat. Such was my fear catching the touring company of the Tony Award winning Best Musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" currently playing at the 5th Avenue Theatre especially for one quite daunting role where the actor must play nine different people. Well, luckily the touring company was completely up to the task especially in that one role making for a hilarious and rousing evening that only did honor to my memory of the original.

JC Brennan grew up in a small village in Michigan called Skidway Lake. In Brennan's own words, 'The small town life was a fantastic way to grow up but I always wanted more. My life was a difficult one and being a single mother most of my life made me realize that willpower is a person's greatest friend. I found my calling in the arts at Central Michigan University but with the birth of my son I could not pursue that adventure. I currently hold three degrees and live in Arizona were I have found a beauty that is without compare. I have struggled most of my life to get where I am and know that there are more battles yet to face. Dear readers, it had been about a year since my previous trip back to the Mothership (a.k.a. TNT is celebrating Supernatural fandom this month with Supernatural Superfan Wednesdays, seven-hour, themed marathons of episodes airing from 1-8 p.m. (ET/PT) every Wednesday in February. In addition, TNT will set aside President's Day for a 11 hours of fan favorites, as well as episodes featuring meta storylines.
