Synetic Theater invites you to the annual Vampire's Ball on Friday, November 1. The Vampire's Ball has been a tradition at Synetic since 2007, when it was originally organized in conjunction with The Fall of the House of Usher. This year, The Vampire's Ball will follow another creepy and supernatural Synetic stand-out, The Picture of Dorian Gray. After being treated to a spectacular performance, guests will dance the night away in Synetic's new studio, courtesy of Resident Composer and Halloween DJ Konstantine Lortkipanidze. Critically acclaimed theatre company The Playwrights Realm has announced the cast and creative team for the New York premiere of Lauren Yee's new play The Hatmaker's Wife, directed by recent OBIE Award winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812). The Hatmaker's Wife marks the first Playwrights Realm production at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street) in midtown Manhattan, following previous engagements in several downtown Off-Broadway venues. Previews begin Tuesday, August 27, for an opening Thursday, September 5.
