Screen and stage star Elizabeth Reaser, best known for her performances in the blockbuster Twilight film franchise and her season-long arc on 'Grey's Anatomy,' will step into its upcoming production of The Money Shot for the departing Heather Graham, who exits the production due to a late-breaking opportunity to begin production on a passion project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Giamatti will star in Universal's biopic STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON as Jerry Heller, the manager of the rap group N.W.A. F. Gary Gray directs. The film is scheduled to hit the big screen next August.

From the 470 plays submitted by young writers throughout the state, a panel of theatre professionals has selected four High School plays, three Junior High School plays and four Elementary Schools plays. In each category, selection was blind; plays were selected without knowledge of playwrights' schools, grade or background. The 31st Annual New Jersey Young Playwrights Contest Festival will be held on June 2 and 3, 2014, as part of a partnership between Playwrights Theatre and Premiere Stages at Kean University. Select plays from this festival may be reprised at Playwrights Theatre's nationally-recognized Forum Reading Series in December 2014. According to Arkansas Online, Broadway star Lawrence Hamilton passed away yesterday at age 59 due to complications from surgery. Hamilton was born in Arkansas in 1954. Aside from performing on Broadway, he also studied Music Education and taught as a professor.
