Ten Chimneys Foundation has announced the ten actors who will participate in the 2014 Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program, a widely acclaimed national program to serve the future of American theatre. July 13-20, the Lunt-Fontanne Fellows will join Master Teacher David Hyde Pierce for an intensive, weeklong master class and immersion experience at Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of theatre legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin.

The production runs today, May 6-July 13, 2014 at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The press opening is May 22, 2014 at 7:30pm.

Everyman Theatre has announced its 2014/15 season. The award-winning fringe venue Theatre503 has announced full casting for their SECOND LOOK production of Billy Roche's play A HAND FULL OF STARS. As previously announced Coronation Street actor and Boyzone star Keith Duffy (BIG MAGGIE, Druid Theatre Company) is to make his London stage debut as Stapler. Joining Keith will be actors Ciaran Owens (OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR at Stratford East and OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD for Out of Joint) as Jimmy, Michael O'Connor (ONCE, Phoenix Theatre) as Swan and Brian Fenton (THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, Noel Coward Theatre) as Tony. Artistic Director Paul Robinson's production will run at Battersea's Theatre503 from Wednesday 30 April until Saturday 24 May 2014.

The celebrated off-Broadway comedy, Around the World in 80 Days, which features five actors in a theatrical tour-de-force playing 39 characters from Jules Verne's classic adventure novel, will come alive through the Arizona Theatre Company production at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe, from today, March 27-April 13.

The Old Globe today announced it will present two Shakespeare-themed events. On Monday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m., Tony Award winner Roger Rees will return to the Globe for a one-night-only engagement of What You Will, his hysterical (and somewhat historical) 90-minute gallop through the world of Shakespeare. On Saturday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m., Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein will offer an encore of Thinking Shakespeare Live!, his 90-minute exploration of the language of Shakespeare. This fast-paced, funny, and altogether fascinating program based on Edelstein's book, Thinking Shakespeare: A How-To Guide for Student Actors, Directors, and Anyone Else Who Wants to Feel More Comfortable with the Bard, reveals a performer's approach to Shakespearean language so audiences may easily understand the poetry of the Bard.
