The Dave Koz & Friends 2010 Smooth Jazz Christmas tour will be extra-special this year as South African singer/guitarist Jonathan Butler, keyboardist Brian Culbertson, and Dutch saxophone star Candy Dulfer join the multi-GRAMMY® nominee and saxophonist extraordinaire in celebrating the joys of the season. This is Dulfer's first tour with Koz, while favorites Butler and Culbertson are back by popular demand. The tour has become a cherished tradition for fans, and 2010 marks its 13th anniversary. Lynch Theater at John Jay College with excerpts from 'The Tragical-Comical Trial Trial of Madame P and Other 4-Legged and Winged Creatures,' a multi-media phantasmagoria-in-progress by award-winning playwright Susan Yankowitz. The play is widely interdisciplinary, engaging themes of animal rights and law, criminal justice, philosophy and ethics. The concluding event of John Jay's annual Art of Justice Series, it will be presented on Monday and Tuesday, November 29 and 30 at 7:00pm. The Gerald W. Lynch Theater is located at John Jay College, 899 Tenth Avenue, NYC. Kate Mulgrew, who starred as Katherine Hepburn in Tea at Five, one of Hartford Stage's most successful productions of all time, will return to the Tony Award-winning theatre (Michael Wilson, Artistic Director; Michael Stotts, Managing Director) in William Shakespeare's classic play, Antony and Cleopatra. Tina Landau will direct the production, which will run at Hartford Stage October 7 - November 7. Antony and Cleopatra will be the first production in Hartford Stage's renovated and expanded Church Street facility. Construction on the renovation project will take place this summer.

As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles. The next cast will be announced in the next upcoming weeks.

The hit revival is Ashley's 8th Broadway show, but her first since she became a mom.
John Douglas Thompson will be starring in the Hartford Stage production of Antony and Cleopatra, which will run October 7 through November 7. Thompson will be joining Kate Mulgrew who has been previously confirmed for the female lead. Thompson received a Drama Desk nomination for his performance in The Emperor Jones and an Obie Award for Othello. His stage credits include: Cyrano de Bergerac and Julius Caesar on Broadway.
