VIDEO: Sarah Rose Davis Holds a Healthy Singing Workshop For 5th Avenue Theater
5th Avenue Theater is continuing its Fridays @ The 5th Long Distance! series, with a healthy singing workshop from Sarah Rose Davis.
This is the second installment of the series of cloud workshops and discussions from The 5th focused on musical theater topics and skills. This week's theme: "Raise Your Voice - Powerful Music calls for Powerful (healthy) Singing!"
Explore the building blocks of performing show-stopping numbers. Gain the tools to access your healthiest voice, for singing and beyond. Listen as Sarah Rose Davis (How to Succeed in Business..., Austen's Pride, Urinetown) tells the story of her successful career following vocal injury.
Students will learn vocal techniques to build stamina, warm up gently and find their unique powerhouse sound. Get ready to get your diva on and raise your voice! A Q&A and tech-facilitated "group hug" for Washington state theater teens. Rehearsals might be cancelled, but the spontaneous musical numbers MUST GO ON!
