The Moore Theatre Hosts A Global Dance Party 12/4

Global Dance Party is a high-energy performance of cultural and contemporary dance and live music from around the globe. The performance features young local performers from STG's More Music @ The Moore and DANCE This celebrating the rich cultural traditions and artistic talent found in the Northwest. A not to be missed experience for all ages. Think Global, Dance Local!

Irish Fiddle and Dance by The Gothard Sisters
Mexican Folk Dance and Music by Joyas Mestizas and Correo Aereo
Modern by Charlotte Newman, STG Young Choreographer
Odissi Classical Indian by Urvasi Dance Ensemble, Junior Company
R & B Vocals by The Eriam Sisters
Step /African /Tap Collaboration by Step Afrika! with NW Tap Connection, Sukutai Music & Dance Ensemble and UW Zeta Phi Beta Steppers
Collaborative Finale by Amy O'Neal

In the vain of STG's DANCE This and More Music at The Moore, Global Dance Party ends with a bang!
Audiences of all ages will enjoy seeing the diverse artistic talent of the Pacific Northwest blended in a
cross-cultural collaborative finale piece choreographed by Amy O'Neal (local choreographer). Never can the talent of these young artists be more prevalent than when they are all on one big stage sharing the same movement and music at the same time. Think Global, Dance Local!
