Seattle Theatre Group (STG) announces the following concerts going on sale this week.

The Lonely Forest

From press notes: Establishing themselves in 2006 as a prime young band to watch as winners of the highly coveted EMP Sound Off! Competition, The Lonely Forest, from the small town of Anacortes, WA, have spent the last few years experimenting with a variety of sounds. With their newest release, We Sing The Body Electric!, released on April 21st, The Lonely Forest have crafted what will surely be one of the top NW releases of the year.

The Grand Finale of the Seattle International StandUp Comedy Competition is a comedy festival-slash-elimination contest, now in its 30th year. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete; only thirty-two are chosen to compete. Comics from Chicago, Boston, New York and Canada will be participating, as well as performers from the Northwest's hot comedy scene. Past participants have included Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, David Silverman, Bill Nye, and Mitch Hedberg.

By the time he was thirteen years old, the virtuoso violinist David Garrett had a classical music career that would make most artists of any age pea-green with envy. David has carved out a unique and wholly new artistic path, one that pays as much homage to Metallica as to Mozart.

STG is the 501 (c)(3) non-profit arts organization that operates the historic Paramount and Moore Theatres in Seattle, Washington.
