ROCKY HORROR SHOW 'Warps' to Whidbey Island Center for the Arts 10/30 - 11/14

Whidbey Island Center for the Arts launches its 2009/10 Theatre Series with Richard O'Brien's cult-classic The Rocky Horror Show, at 565 Camano Avenue, Langley, WA, on Friday, October 30, 2009 (with performances continuing through November 14).

The production features Brian Plebanek as Frank-N-Furter, Savannah Randall as Janet, George Henny as Brad, and a company of some of Whidbey Island's finest performers: Gwen Jones (Trixie), Terry Rose (The Narrator), Ryan Saenz (Riff-Raff), Sam Cass (Columbia), Katie Woodzick (Magenta), Charles Simpson (Rocky), Rainey Lewis (Eddie/Dr. Everett Scott), Addelle Dierking, Caitlin Goldbaum, Gwen

Jones, Gail Liston, Adam Shults, and Carrie Whitney.
The show is directed by Jason Dittmer, with musical direction is by Robert W. Prosch, and choreography by Graham and Susan Vanderwood. Robert Marsanyi will conduct the orchestra.

"I would like if I may to take you on a strange journey" to the world's favorite rock'n'roll musical, Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. In the velvet darkness of the blackest night, two clean cut kids (Brad and Janet) run into car trouble and seek help at "the Frankenstein place", where Dr. Frank-N-Furter - an alien transvestite - is in the midst of one of his maniacal experiments... He's making a man!
