Phoenix Theatre presents Kimberly Akimbo, by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Eric Lewis, May 30 thru June 22. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.
Set in the wilds of New Jersey, Kimberly is a teenager with a rare condition that causes her to age faster than she should. When her family ?ees Secaucus under dubious circumstances, she?s forced to re-evaluate her life while contending with a hypochondiac mother, a rarely sober father, a homeless, scam-artist aunt, and the most terrifying of all, the possibility of first love.
The cast of Kimberly Akimbo features Christine Mosere, Jay Jenkins, Carissa Smit, Woody Lotts, and Melanie Calderwood.
