Island Stage Left Holds Picnic Friendraiser Performance 7/25 With AS YOU LIKE IT

"All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players..."

Island Stage Left presents a Shakespeare Under the Stars performance of AS YOU LIKE IT on Fridays through Sundays through July 26 at 1062 Wold Road and Thursdays through Sundays from July 30 to August 22 at Roche Harbor.

All performances begin at 8:15pm. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Bring a blanket and dress warmly!

From a cold and hostile court to the blossoming of spring in the forest of Arden, As You Like It is all about love - in all its forms. Brothers, lovers, friends and foe are tricked, tried and tested in a pastoral pastiche of life, love, wisdom and wit. A wrestling match, music, banished dukes, cross-dressing and a celebration of country life combine to move, delight and inspire in this, a comedy for anyone who has ever contemplated packing it all in for a simpler life.

On Saturday evening July 25th, there will be a Picnic Friendraiser Performance with supper and surprise pre-show entertainment at 1062 Wold Road at 6:30pm.
