BPA Theatre School's Winter Showcase Set for March 29 & 30

BPA Theatre School's Winter Showcase features two plays for the price of one! Younger students are showcased in the annual Bainbridge to Broadway student musical revue and students from BPA's Teen Intensive program will perform Tom Stoppard's now-classic Fifteen Minute Hamlet.

In our annual Bainbridge to Broadway student musical revue stranded time-travellers with a gift for song are oppressed by an evil king who makes them wear fashions from decades they hate. Will this tragically time-travelled troupe of hippies from the '60s and dancers from the '80s manage to overthrow the tyrant and let their own freak flags unfurl? You'll have to come see the show to find out!

Next up, we'll take a deep dive into Shakespeare and Tom Stoppard's Fifteen Minute Hamlet, as our teen students pair renaissance dance steps with their performance in the Winter Showcase.

BPA Theatre School's Winter Showcase offers family fun for 'kids' of all ages, says Director of Education Liz Ellis. "These students still manage to blow me away and set a new bar with every performance."

BPA Theatre School's Winter Showcase appears Thursday and Friday, March 29 and 30 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets, $10 for adults and $5 for Seniors, Youth, Students, Military, and Teachers, may be purchased online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206.842.8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. BPA Box Office hours are 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and one hour prior to each performance.
