Theatre Royal Glasgow Announces Saturday Lunchtime Concerts

Theatre Royal Glasgow presents a series of free lunchtime concerts every Saturday for the next four weeks. An opportunity to enjoy the exciting new foyer space with performances from a wide range of local musicians. No booking is necessary, just rock up from 12.15pm until 2pm, soak up the ambience and enjoy the tunes!

The Theatre Royal is proud to be supporting local talent:

· On Saturday 28 November (pre The Importance of Being Earnest) Korda String Quartet, comprising four of Scotland's foremost young professional string players, provides a distinguished and sublime soundtrack to a Glasgow winter's day.

· On Saturday 5 December (pre The Last Tango) professional guitar player and singer Martyn Rapley will delight with acoustic Spanish and classical music.

· On Saturday 12 December and Saturday 19 December (pre Jersey Boys) The Shiverin' Sheiks, a dynamite Glasgow based 4-piece band, will get you in the mood for Jersey Boys with 50's pop, rock 'n' roll and doo wop.
