EDINBURGH 2018: BWW Q&A- Bread and Geller

BWW catches up with Bread and Geller to chat about bringing Prime Time to the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Tell us a bit about Prime Time.

It's a mix of observational sketch, character comedy, and musical parody. Beyond the Joke called it "infectious", which we hope was a reference to the style...

How long have you been working together?

We met on a show in 2013 where we became BFFs slash pseudo-siblings, and a mere four years later Bread & Geller was born. Our first gig together was around a year ago.

Why bring Prime Time to the Fringe?

Humans in London have been laughing at it, so we thought humans further afield might do the same. The Fringe is also a very exciting place to be in terms of seeing other acts, not just as a performer.

What sets it apart from other sketch shows at the festival?

At the time of writing, we're confident there aren't any other Caucasian comedy duos out there... Another thing is that we try to avoid stereotypical gender roles and romantic situations; the show is fairly abstract and silly.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Anyone. Everyone.
