Tell us a bit about Audacity.

Well dudes it's a comedic exploration of the last 12 months of the society we are now all settling into. Save for all the fart and music references and a bungload of mega sweet observations.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

Because it is a good show and deserves a good festival. Also I love going to Edinburgh to eat crepes and stand in the rain and you gotta bring a monkey to the circus my metaphor hating uncle always used to say.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

I am in it. I am nearly naked on the poster. It will be super funny and it's got the strangest trump joke going I swear to pete.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Everyone. With money. Bring money.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Yep.

Dylan Gott. Bobby Mair. Anything can be a podcast podcast and let's not forgot finding the right day to watch a bleary eyes James Mac Gee. One love.

See John Hastings: Audacity at the Pleasance Courtyard throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 2nd to 28th August. For tickets visit www.edfringe.com
