EDINBURGH 2014- BWW Reviews: PACO ERHARD- WORST. GERMAN. EVER. , Cowgatehead, August 3 2014
Paco Erhard is German. But he's not very good at it. Infact, he has previously been called "the worst German ever" which as he points out, is a little unfair considering who his competition is.
While I love the freestival and its policy that you can pay what you think a show is worth, I can't help but feel that Erhard belongs on a bigger stage. He is so much funnier than many of the big name comedians that I have seen at previous Fringes.
His comedic timing is excellent and his jokes are genuinely very very funny. His nationality is not his only material and he doesn't rely on cheap laughs. I won't repeat any of his jokes because I really think you should go and see it for yourselves.
German comedian Paco Erhard may not be very good at being German but he is very good at being a comedian.
Worst. German. Ever. runs at Cowgatehead as part of the freestival until August 25th.
