World-Renowned Alvin Ailey Dances to Van Wezel

Alvin Ailey's pioneering legacy that uplifts, unites, and enlightens continues to grow as Ailey's 32 remarkable dancers - led by Artistic Director Robert Battle- bring new productions, and returning favorites to life, shining a spotlight on social issues and celebrating the birth centennials of jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie. Highlights will include Alvin Ailey's American masterpiece Revelations, Mauro Bigonzetti's premiere of Deep, new productions of Billy Wilson's The Winter in Lisbon and Robert Battle's In/Side.
