Van Wezel Announces Second FRIDAY FEST of the Summer

Join us for our second Friday Fest of the summer! Returning favorites Kettle of Fish will hit the stage on the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall bayside lawn on Friday, July 21 from 5PM-9PM.

With their take on Blues, Soul and Funk with the energy of Rock' n, Roll Kettle of Fish will have the fans on their feet and dancing the night away. The band is a real crowd-pleaser with its wide appeal of genres and cover songs that could include hits from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding and Hank Williams, Jr. Keeping it creative, the band also plays originals written primarily by guitarist and vocalist Dana Lawrence. Don't miss the band that the Sarasota Herald-Tribune called the "best of Southwest Florida.

Bring your blankets or lawn chairs, take in the music along with the beautiful Sarasota sunset and enjoy food and beverage from local vendors. Friday Fest '17 will take place "rain or shine" and, in the event of inclement weather, will be moved indoors to the Grand Foyer or Main Stage of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Outside food and drink are prohibited; coolers and large umbrellas are also prohibited. Entry to the Friday Fest event is Free!
